Longtime friend-of-the-show J. Daniel Sawyer has written a new nonfiction book, Secrets of the Heinlein Juvenile. In it he digs into the works of Robert A. Heinlein, the granddaddy of YA science fiction, and reveals the hidden structure that turns these books into evergreen classics. Right now he’s running a Kickstarter to fund the production of the book, and he’s released this audio version of chapter 1 to give you a taste of what awaits within its pages.
